Shipmates and Friends of USS Voge,
Dates have been set for a reunion! You are invited to gather with crewmembers and friends of USS Voge (DE/FF-1047) in Jacksonville, Florida on the weekend of October 12th to 14th 2012.
The specific agenda menu of reunion activities will be developed dependent on the number of participants who firmly commit to attending the reunion. What you need to do now is register to attend the reunion by contacting our reunion planning partners Military Reunion Planners. See the attached PDF for details on registering for the reunion and making reservations at the convention host hotel.
As a starting point, this is the basic outline of activities:
- Friday, October 12th - - an evening of meet and greet” at the convention hotel (Crowne Plaza Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront).
- Saturday, October 13th - - day events to be determined and a dinner / banquet in the evening.
- Sunday, October 14th - - morning departure gathering and farewells. Possible afternoon activities depending on number who are not departing until Monday or later.
More information about the reunion will follow over the coming months, but in the meantime please register. Also, you are invited to stay abreast of thoughts, ideas and suggestions via the Facebook group page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/USSVOGE/ and key updates will be made posted on the Voge website (http://sites.google.com/site/ussvoge1047/now-hear-this) as they occur.
